Why Player Care is important..
Player Care is an essential aspect of any football club. A focus on Player Care not only benefits the players involved but also contributes to overall success and longevity of a football club.
By investing in Player Care, clubs create an environment that supports the players throughout their careers, enhances performance and contributes to their overall quality of life.
A happy player off the pitch should convert to a happy player on the pitch.
We all know that players will settle at different speeds. It's about making them and their families feel welcome and for the transition to be as smooth as possible.
The well-being and mental health of a player or staff member is extremely important. The operational side can assist in alleviating some of the stresses and pressures they may be experiencing, but we have to get those right. Active listening, empathy and great communication are key to building great relationships and trust.
It is an absolute privilege to be invited into the world of Football. It's an environment and industry that's like no other.
